After Senate setback, Obama quietly moving forward with gun regulation (Tyranny alert)

A Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Final Rule published today in the Federal Register and a news release issued Friday by the Department of Health and Human Services, followed up with a notice to be published tomorrow, are two developments all but ignored by the mainstream press even though Vice President Joe Biden announced last week that the administration would be using executive orders to advance “gun control” goals following a Senate battle that could not muster the votes to do so legislatively.

The Importation of Defense Articles and Defense Services -- U.S. Munitions Import List references executive orders, amends ATF regulations and clarifies Attorney General authority “to designate defense articles and defense services as part of the statutory USML for purposes of permanent import controls,” among other clauses specified in heavy legalese requiring commensurate analysis to identify just what the administration’s intentions are. Among the speculations of what this could enable are concerns that importing and International Traffic in Arms Regulations may go forward to reflect key elements within the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.

Look, it isn't just 0bama and it is high time America starts to wake up to that fact.

All these agencies that have the ability to ‘rule’ just didn't happen overnight, all that authority was not given to them yesterday....

We're watching the culmination of a brilliantly orchestrated overthrow of American liberty.

Winning elections is not going to stop or change ANY of this. To stop this...we must tear apart the government, strip away all the rules and regulations until all that is left is the bare bones being picked apart by the rapid few. Ha! There is not a patriot alive today with that kind of courage!

No FRiends we will be still and know. We will let the progressive liberalism cook away and ferment in its own blood. History shows the liberal does not learn from his mistakes, he is a stubborn donkey's rearend and with his feet firmly planted in the burning barn he will be consumed by the lamp of liberty he so casually kicked over.

The Commerce Department falls under the administration. An executive order can shut off imports of any commodity from any foreign nation. Bush 41 banned AK lookalikes from China in 1989, Clinton tightened the China arms ban further in 1994.

“Stroke of the pen, law of the land, kinda cool.” - Paul Forehead Begala, 1999

Obama can ban imports as he pleases with his eye on firearms & ammo. Only terrified Red State Democrats can stop him: “Mr. President, do you want us to retake the House in 2014, or do you want us to lose even more seats!!?”

If Obama bans foreign made & milsurp guns and the Republicans fail to hang that around every Democrat’s neck, then we are even worse off than we thought.
