What I got out of it was two points:
1.) If a crime happens entirely within a state, then Congress shouldn't pass a law against it. For example, if marijuana is grown, harvested, and consumed entirely within a state, there is no interstate commerce and should be covered under state law.
B.) Congress shouldn't have made the firearms prohibition against domestic violence misdemeants retroactive.
