I loved hearing that call yesterday; it made me take heart a little. I still believe there’s no hope for America, and don’t pray for it any more. I figure God has made His decision to let us go, and who am I to argue with God?
In the past, immigrants wanted to be Americans and worked hard to achieve a balance of assimilation while maintaining and sharing their traditions. The attitude now is absent of assimilation, it's takeover and it's supported by our government by using our tax dollars to print materials in foreign languages, requiring our children to learn foreign languages and teaching children about 'diversity'.
I understand what you are saying and the deep meaning behind it, but I have a different view. I think God gave us our talents and our energy and He’ll be disappointed in us if we don’t use them. Rather than God deciding against America, maybe He is testing us. Patriotism is never out of season and there is never a time to give up. Our founding fathers fought against overwhelming odds. Can we do any less? It may not seem like we can ever succeed, but are we ever justified in surrendering to evil? I hope we don’t get to the point of saying “Give me liberty or give me death” but it certainly acknowledges that there are some fates worse than death.
