“Justice” at college campi is a preview of what’s in store for the rest of us if we don’t rein-in an out-of-control government.
After reading this article, my strange mind invented a fantasy argument in a courtroom, where a brilliant attorney (probably me .. /8^), argued effectively and successfully for some client, and the judge said, "That may be all well and good, Mr. knarf ... but what about this disorderly conduct .. what do you have to say to THAT"
And THAT is the most maddening thing about American politics and law ... NOTHING is simple anymore.

D'ya think maybe there would never had been this disorderly conduct charge if there were never allowances for opposite sex visits in the dorm room ?
I would be tempted to believe you if I hadn’t seen what my daughter went through in her freshman dorm. It is easier to discipline if you keep the police out of it.
However, the case in question is not grounds for expulsion so I doubt we are getting the whole truth.
yeah I am taking the roommates’ side on this deal, keep dogs out of the cats’ area, when you are responsible enough to rent your own house you can act in a sexually irresponsible manner until God brings you up short with consequences, not before.
IIRC, if the subject makes the threat, it is assault; if he throws the punch, it is battery.
