And you know it will be a lemon.
The only high speed rail will be sliding your butt down the handrail at the station.

I’m sure this deal was blessed by Capo De Tutti Capi Obama so it’s all good.

Maybe the members just wanted to give him a consolation for having to wake up next to DiFi.
In all seriousness, this should be an outrage.

Well, we know one thing... guns won’t be allowed on that rail line.

DiFi family business gives crony capitalism a whole new meaning.
DiFi is among the finest examples of what it means to be a congressional corruptocrat.

OH where is Willie Green when we need him. He’d be telling us how tax-payer funded high speed rail is the best thing since indoor plumbing and that it alone will save California from doom (even if the project is rife with corruption!)
Yes, I’ll admit I miss the Willie Green Happy Choo Choo threads. I like trains and think they are a great idea BUT passenger rail doesn’t make money in this country and never will. If private industry won’t do something then it usually shouldn’t be done.

I'm shocked. Shocked.
DiFi’s hubby will build the Train to Nowhere in California! This is a metaphor for the Golden State — nowhere.

This is all a scam. It will unfold further when the owners of the land being acquired for right-of-ways rail stations, switch yards and related facilities are identified. Maybe the FBI will take a look.

The high speed rail is a dud. Stossel has done segments on it. They can’t find a single private investor. They government stooges behind it claim Amtrak is overcrowded but in actuality they are only a third full.

Learned it from MA where, after a world-wide search, the state hires a legislator’s brother- or sister-in law. One quarter of all top-level state hirees have the last name Bulger or Demassi.
To: Bigtigermike
Let me guess: he was selected after a “nationwide search”, right?
