I do wish that senator had had the quickness of mind to tell Puss Morgan that guns have multiple uses other than being used to kill people (which is after all the left’s supposed “concern”) rather than the silly comeback about walking sticks and hammers. The points are that even when guns are used to kill, it can be perfectly legitimate self-defense (as many people have found, to their relief and the safety of their families), and to acquire food, and for sport. The main point is that guns are not solely used to indiscriminately kill innocent people, though the point of all guns is to shoot something.
