An average American woman of average height who took ballet lessons or played soccer in childhood (strong thighs) and had military training in young adulthood (stronger than average upper body -- for a woman) can beat a skinny 21-year-old drunk dress-wearing guy raised on vegetables and goat.
I am a short woman, but have renovated a bunch of properties and can haul 5-gallon buckets of paint around, lift beams above my head and push furniture with my leg strength. Doesn't make me any less attractive to secure men. If a woman doesn't want to be raped and has the sand to avoid it, what's not to love?
