No kidding only thing I heard we did was send some troops into Jordan - not sure what the heck is going on over there.

Cut the US Army by another 100,000, Hagel, as you plan to do. That seems like a reasonable response.

Thank God it's only on a 'small' scale.

"President Barack Obama has said the use of chemical weapons would be a "game-changer" in the U.S. position on intervening in the Syrian civil war, and the letter to Congress reiterates that the use or transfer of chemical weapons in Syria is a "red line for the United States." However, the letter also hints that a broad U.S. response is not imminent."

It was less than 24 hrs ago that Hagel was warning Israel not to make such accusations against poow, widdle sywia.
Sounds like Hagel acted stupidly.

Massacre civilians with guns and bombs - OK
Massacre civilians with poison gas - NOT OK?
This is the same logic that says it's okay to scramble a baby six inches north of the vulva but not 6 inches south.
I'll never understand liberal logic.

LOL. So have the “rebels” that Obama and John F Kerry who served in Vietnam have given millions of dollars to despite the sequester.
To: SoFloFreeper
RT: "Kerry, reports the AP, said the Syrian regime launched two chemical weapons attacks during that Thursday morning meeting, which Foreign Policy says was attended by reportedly all US senators, as well as representatives for the office of the director of national intelligence and the Federal Bureau of Investigation."
