FBI: Incarcerated Gang Leader Had 5 Kids with 4 Guards

BALTIMORE CITY, MD — A cabal of corrupt corrections officers and members of the Black Guerilla Family gang enjoyed nearly free rein inside the Baltimore City Detention Center, federal authorities allege, smuggling drugs and cellphones into the jail and having sexual relationships that left four guards pregnant.

An indictment unsealed Tuesday names 25 people — including 13 women working as corrections officers — who face racketeering, drug and money laundering charges.

It alleges that Tavon White, an inmate known as “Bulldog,” took control of the prison gang soon after his arrival in 2009 on an attempted murder charge.

“This is my jail,” White said on an intercepted phone call, according to the indictment.
“I’m dead serious. … I make every final call in this jail
… and nothing go past me, everything come to me.”

White, 36, allegedly fathered five children with the four female guards, who were identified as Jennifer Owens, 31, Katera Stevenson, 24, Chania Brooks, 27, and Tiffany Linder, 27. Two of the guards had his name tattooed on their bodies — one on her neck and another on her wrist, according to the indictment.

Maryland and Baltimore are a lost cause. Dont get me wrong, areas out on the country and on the coast are great. But Baltimore-DC area is just ghetto trash.

This type of thing goes on in jails across the country, although not to this extreme. Its a national disgrace that no one wants to talk about — guards all over the place help smuggle in drugs, booze, cell phones and other contraband, or turn a blind eye to prisoners using it.

As an aside, this guy should be nominated for Baltimore's Entrepreneur of the Year award.
