Richard Burr's commendable statements and feelings aside, I've heard elsewhere that Boehner appears sympathetic to his staff and aides in Congress. That's tantamount to support, for whatever reason.
I hope you're correct suggesting Politico is simply trying to splatter some of Harry Reid's mud onto Boehner,

I hope you're correct suggesting Politico is simply trying to splatter some of Harry Reid's mud onto Boehner And Boehner may prove that's the case ,but his spokesperson's comment was not leaning in that direction. Yes, we must watch Boehner, and cannot trust him, but we can't trust Politico's headline either. That's why to me this is a watch and see. Boehner gives us plenty of reasons to jump in his sh-t - but it's too early to do so on this one yet, altho it bears watching.
