On the SPLC’s own definition of “hate group.” (Since there is no legal definition, they just made one up.)
http://rkeefe57.wordpress.com/
“ a ‘hate group’ has nothing to do with criminality [or] potential for violence ” Rather, as Potok put it, “Its all about ideology.”
No crime, no violence, just “wrong thinking”.
All you need to know about the SPLC:
These five men, all linked with Occupy Wall Street, attempted to blow up a bridge as an overture to the wholesale destruction of Cleveland, Ohio, and in the name of anarchism. They also looked to blow up the Republican convention.
They were anarchists, he repeated.
Yes?
He paused. Were not really set up to cover the extreme Left.

A class action suit that would empty their coffers sounds like justice.
The SPLC is the Anti-White KKK. They would love to lynch some Whitey....esp conservative ones
Where is the New York Times
Where are the breathless NBC liars?
Where’s CBS’s “60 Minutes’ of liberal propaganda fed to them by liberal PR firms?
For that matter - where is FoxNews?
And they've influence violence - check out this story to see how....
My local paper has not covered this story - they're not interested in how this young terrorist was influenced to commit a violent act by the SPLC:
The SPLC is often welcomed on news shows just like it a legitimate organization.
>>>Someone should sue for liability.<<<
You got that right. The left is constantly using the legal system to advance their agenda and destroy their enemies. Time to be proactive. It would be a delight to see the SPLC on the stand trying to defend their listing of the Family Research Council as a terrorist organization. Sue them for millions, and the stick the head on a pike at the outskirts of town to warn the next stupid bastard not to do it again. Metaphorically, of course.
Even if SPLC loses, it would cost them millions defending themselves.
Be nice to see lefty groups getting hammered by their own tactics.
Thanks for the ping.
The SPLC has long been a leftwing hate group that does its dirty work by lumping together conservative and even Christian groups in with criminal gangs.
That hasn’t stopped some Freepers from using SPLC smears to try to shut down immigration control discussions. When you see mainline immigration groups being accused of promoting eugenics then you know you have run across one of them.
Glenn Beck where are you ? you need to expose this leftist terrorist group (SPLC - Southern Poverty Law Center) for what it is, you got the bully pulpit now use it.
Well, well, well, another leftist showing a violent response and yet the Tea Party is still considered a hate group by the MSM.
Every time another leftist commits a violent act the only response from the commie supporters is Tim McVeigh.
Well at least Tim was responding to the government bar-b-que of women, children, and useless men in WACO and killings at Ruby Ridge so while his actions are to be condemned, they are understood as a poor response to an out of control government.
The left certainly has more bombers, killers on their side and some with very close ties to this abomination of an administration.
The Southern Poverty Law Center's people were behind the lie about the 'Vast Right Wing Conspiracy'. They made that up - then spread the information through police departments.. The SPLC worked in the shadows telling people things must be kept secret - stopping the light of day and the press from exposing their lies. If Hillary hadn't spilled the beans - the lies might have worked.
Turns out the press wouldn't have been a problem...
If a right wingers had walked into a Gay Rights Organization with the intent of killing a bunch of gays and stuffing fast food in their mouths, do you think the New York Times would cover it on the front page?
Bet on it. They would have pictures and retrospectives - the whole nine yards.
But when it's a crime - a hate crime - against conservatives - we hear crickets from the Washington Post, the New York Times, the LA Times, and Chicago Tribune.
The reason people don't trust the 'press' anymore is because the press has become untrustworthy.
