Good afternoon.

If this was 1775, I would say we have a monarchy, and not a Republic.

If this was 1775, I would say that we have a King, and not a president.

If this was 1775, I would say that we have King George's crown, and not a free Press.

If this was 1775, I would say that we have the rule of men, and not the rule of law.

If this was 1775, I would make sure my powder is dry, and my stores are stocked.

Don't tread on me please, it could get ugly.

Hmm. I wonder why the President’s executive agencies didn’t blow off, or pick and choose which laws to obey or ignore from the git-go in 1789? Why is this only a recent phenomena?
