Did you happen to notice in the story that the priest who fired the teacher had himself been accused of sexual misconduct with two men, leading to a financial settlement in one of the cases? And that the priest in question wasn't fired, just suspended and later reinstated and subsequently promoted?

If he was reinstated and promoted without expressly repenting and amending his life, then that's a double standard. Do we know that's what happened?
