There seems to be one sure way to stop having our government do the bidding of the Saudis: "Drill here, Drill now!"
But I've noticed that American politicians who say such things are quickly squashed. We have a lot of resources in this country, but the government is trying really hard not to use them: they prefer to be dependent on foreign oil, and to do the bidding of foreign kings.

While you're at it, you could green light the Keystone Pipeline. That would create jobs and decrease the price of crude immediately.
