Holding a sign proclaiming Newtown Dad -- Pro 2nd Amendment -- Why Am I the Bad Guy Now? Bill Stevens, the Newtown father who earlier this year told Connecticut legislators You will take my ability to protect my [daughter] Victoria from my cold dead hands, addressed an approving crowd at Saturdays Second Amendment Rally at the State Capitol in Hartford.
The event, sponsored by the Connecticut Citizens Defense League, was the same one citizen journalist Mike Vanderboegh drew approval from attendees (and condemnation from monopoly of violence zealots) at when he informed them of his defiance through smuggling and encouraged them to Be the best lawbreaker you can be. "Only one side of the Newtown story has been told....actually exploited for political gain."
Taking the stage with his daughter Victoria, whose school had been locked down as the Sandy Hook killings were happening, Stevens asked her if she felt safer in lockdown or at home with him and his guns.
Obviously with my Dad, she replied to cheers. The teachers dont know how to protect us, really.

The left demands a monopoly on many things perhaps the most important of their monopoly demands is that of information.
People either tow their party line or they get attacked, ignored, or marginized. The leftist in the media are truly the definition of fanatic.
Only the left have earned the right to dance in the blood of children with a smile on their face.
I guess he did not get the memo.
Bump
They gun grabbing left will say “your daugther wasn’t killed.” As we have seen, this guy isn’t being heard on the MSM.
One man with courage...
This man suffered a horrible tragedy, and refuses to be exploited by the professional exploiters.
Actually this man didn't suffer the loss of a child, but is tired of the loss of others in his town being exploited for an agenda.
As am I and many others in Newtown - sick and tired of the exploitation and one small group thinking they speak for everyone.
Governor LePage of Maine linked federal gun control to the manhunt in the Boston Marathon bombings, criticizing President Obama for trying to pass “bad” gun-control legislation.
“Americans need to protect themselves: against the world, against terrorists in the world,” LePage said. “I think there’s probably an awful lot of Bostonians that saw the light this week.”
The day LePage spoke, about 1 million people in Greater Boston were told to stay indoors. The city was essentially shut down as authorities tracked down Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, a suspect in the bombings on April 15.
I stand corrected.
But if you think about it, when he first heard about the incident, all the horror that went through his mind concerning his own child, he and his wife were probably losing their minds at the uncertainty.
Glad he’s standing up either way.
The Left will treat this Newtown parent with vitriol cause he doesn’t tow the gungrabbing view.
I was at the rally. Huge applause for him.
Really good to hear that, friend.
Support our people, oppose the other side at every opportunity.
Good for him. He needs supporting.
