It’s really hard to determine whether it’s politicians or public school officials who inhabit the absolute bottom of the IQ barrel. But, they are indeed fighting it out, aren’t they?

If he had used that gun to stop a mass school shooting he would be a hero. More likely he would be prosecuted for violating the civil rights of the shooter. That said, even in Idaho we can't carry on a K-12 campus. Until that law is changed, you're just stuck on stupid if you carry in a designated prohibited zone.

It's only a matter of time until another Sandy Hook massacre happens.
Newtown taught us that school officials are idiots (no armed defense, the doorway was right next to a classroom, and the substitute never got a key) and Boston taught us that gun control is worthless.
Next time it happens we ought to blame the surviving teaching staff. They should be shown NO MERCY and be treated as murderers. In sense, they will have accomplices to murder.
My children will never step foot in a school unless I get overwhelming evidence that the administrative staff aren't idiots.
