During a Senate hearing on immigration reform Tuesday, Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano had a testy back-and-forth over the performance of Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.
Sessions challenged Napolitano on whether she had met with leader of the ICE employees’ union in the wake of reports of low morale among ICE agents. Napolitano replied that she had not.
“I think you should have met with them,” Sessions said. “I think there’s a real problem there. We have a very real problem. In December of 2012, a few months ago, a survey of federal agencies showed that morale of ICE employees has dropped in rankings to 279th out of 291 federal agencies. Were you aware that the morale at ICE has plummeted?”

I’m sure she couldn’t possibly care less.

The guidance they are given from their superiors is the problem. I have an ICE agent that lives next door. He says it is a cluster^&*+.
As part time deputy grammar police (ok FR has no grammar police, and that’s a good thing) I do thank you for using that expression correctly.
Speaking of morale, didn’t I read that suicide in the military is at an epic high? Is anyone bringing this to light or doing anything about it? Or is Obama just continuing to cut their pay & benefits while funneling & to Islamists in Egypt, etc.?

The sad part is.... the country is so far gone and the electorate's mentality so diseased, any one of those three would wipe the floor with the "best" republican.

Perhaps the Dems won’t be quite so popular once Obamacare kicks into high gear. Baucus didn’t retire because he was a shoo-in, that’s for sure.
If only one of our emerging Republican "heroes" had the cojones to confront Reggie's BF directly, this country might have a chance.
A thought for Republicans in the Senate: "Why doesn't one of you fellows talk to Sheriff Joe Arpaio. He's from Arizona, just like Big Jan.
In a normal world, that'd be the case, but the "media" will be there with their leader, convincing voters Obamacare would be a blazing success if Republicans didn't stand in the way of its implementation.

Guess I'm just a stupid flyover country good old boy worried more about the little mysterious Saudi bastard than I am about low morale ICE workers, for some reason.
What difference does it make? They won’t be allowed to do their job anyway so why should Napolitanadyke care if they are demoralized? She prefers them that way!
