Did Marco Rubio change suddenly or did he fool me and many others regarding his political views?

And he will not get one more liberal vote because of this stance...and he will just lose most of his conservative support.

This is not how you win elections.

Rubio was always known to be a protege of Jeb Bush. Once he got into office he quickly built alliances with the Establishment in D.C. He only rode the Tea Party train to get elected

I think his true colors are showing through. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but I was always suspicious that he was worse than just squishy on this issue.

Re: “Did Marco Rubio change suddenly?”

No.

As Speaker of the Florida House he blocked several GOP bills that would have authorized Arizona-style immigration enforcement.

After being elected to the US Senate, Rubio hired a chief of staff who was once a lobbyist for the Association of Immigration Lawyers.
