More S.C. voters drop approval of Gang Sen. Graham and oppose his work permits for illegal aliens

Since NumbersUSA began running TV and radio ads in February highlighting the amnesty leadership of Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), his popularity among South Carolina voters has dropped rapidly, according to a new Winthrop University poll.

Although he retains majority support among Republicans, his approval rating among them fell from 71.6% in February to 57.5% in April.

That's a mighty big drop in a really short time for a politician who has been defiant when national journalists ask him about NumbersUSA's educational campaign about his work with the Senate Gang of Eight in pushing for huge increases in foreign labor to compete with the 20 million unemployed Americans who can't find a full-time job.

Graham's approval rating among all registered voters has fallen to 43.9%, according to the university poll. He is up for re-election in 2014.

Two Republicans are threatening a challenge in the primary next year: state Sen. Lee Bright and former congressional candidate Richard Cash.

Graham repeatedly states to journalists and in Senate hearings -- as recently as this week -- that the unemployed workers in South Carolina refuse to take the non-agricultural jobs that open up.

That attitude about jobless Americans in their own states is, in a nutshell, the belief of most of the Senators who support the Gang of Amnesty.

ANOTHER POLL FINDS FEW S.C. VOTERS AGREE THAT S.C. WORKERS SHOULD BE BY-PASSED FOR FOREIGN WORKERS

Graham has stated that the only thing that will keep him from voting for the Gang Amnesty is if it puts too many restrictions on how many foreign workers businesses can import.

The key feature of the Gang Amnesty is to give work permits to illegal aliens before any new enforcement against illegal immigration. South Carolina's voters don't like it:

Although he retains majority support among Republicans...

********

People often refer to Republicans as the stupid party. It’s stupid voters that allow Republicans like Graham to stay in office.

Stop making excuses and enforce current law!!!

The politician who stands on that platform will have a good time on election day.

It will be really disappointing if there is no primary challenge to Graham in 2014. I would sure like to see another Ted Cruz rise up to challenge him, I am ready to join that fight.

What about these two? Are they worth supporting?

57% still gives him enough to be the Republican nominee.

Unless the Dems run a steller candidate against him, he wins another term.

He isn’t sweating until his Republican support drops well below 50%.

Whether its Bright, Cash or some third person we need to get rid of Graham. The fop needs to be rejected from the Senate in 2014—before he can do even more damage to the American people, our Constitutional Republic, our freedoms/rights and our national sovereignty.

My original thinking was that either Tim Scott or Nikki Haley could do it (Scott would have been my preference) but that calculus has changed since Haley appointed Scott to take Jim DeMint’s seat.

2014 will see Tim Scott run for election to complete the remaining two years of DeMint’s term. That will be a cake-walk for him.

Wouldn’t it be nice to see Tim Scott (in the very last minutes before the deadline for filing for the 2014 Republican Senate primaries) actually file to run for the Seat that Graham is currently defiling? SC Republicans, given the choice between Scott and the fop Graham would certainly choose Scott and Lindsey would be off to be a towel boy in the bathhouse of his choice.

Haley, Bright and Cash could file to run in the “DeMint seat”. Any of them would likely be fine to fill that seat—they certainly wouldn’t be trying to do everything in their power to weaken and destroy our country as Graham has been doing whenever he thought he could get away with it.

Of course, this would require some degree of justified deviousness on the part of the anti-Graham Republicans. Conservative Republicans never seem to be able to pull this kind of thing off since they frequently fall for the GOPe’s schemes to get them to form circular firing squads.

I wish, with all my lovable heart, that we South Carolinians would stop being so damn lazy when it comes to voting Lindsey Graham out of office once and for all.

I really despise this tool more now than I ever have.

We did a good job of electing Tim Scott, our jr. Senator from SC. Now we have to find another one. I wish DeMint could challenge Graham but it would never happen now that he has a cushy civilian job.
