I don’t get how Rubio thinks joining or forming a “Gang” and aligning himself with with the the likes of John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Chuck Schumer, and Barack Obama and most Democrats is going to turn out good for him. Common sense should tell any truly conservative Republican he is on the wrong side of an issue just by the character of the people he is allied with and by the people who are disgusted with him and let down by him. I wish Mark Levin and Rush would put that fact to him a little more directly.

I credit Rubio for trying to change INS policy. All we are doing now is allowing in folks that immediately apply for welfare - chain immigration.

The demorats are not going to change an INS policy that benefits them.

Rubio knows how Congress works. He has to ‘give’ something to get a change in INS policy and secured borders. Rubio expertly explained how if the federal gov’t. cannot secure the borders the governors will be given that authority in 5 years.

If the ‘illegals’ truly have to go to the back of the line, the amnesty ( which currently exists ) is worth the cost if INS is reformed and the flow of welfare recipients is replaced with a better educated class of entrepreneurial workers.

It is impossible to send the illegals back. As Rubio said, amnesty currently exists and is administration policy. The focus should be on secured borders and stemming the flow of immigrants that immediately apply for welfare and vote demorat or else this country is finished with the present chain immigration policies.
