Kerry: ‘Part of Human Rights’ to ‘Run in a Marathon Without Violence' April 19, 2013 By Melanie Hunter

(CNSNews.com) – As Secretary of State John Kerry unveiled the 2012 human rights report on Friday, he said it is “part of human rights to make clear that people have the right to run in a marathon without violence” and to “enjoy a holiday without terror.”

“It’s a part of human rights to make clear that people have the right to run in a marathon without violence, and people have the right to enjoy a holiday without terror, and that the rights of people are represented in many different ways, so we proudly stand here today to release again our human rights report,” said Kerry during a press conference at the State Department.

Three people were killed, including an eight-year-old boy, and more than 100 injured in the attack, which took place on Patriots Day, a state holiday commemorating the opening battles of the American Revolutionary War.

“These reports send a very clear message that all governments have a responsibility to protect universal human rights, and they help to blaze a path forward for places where those rights are either threatened or denied,” said Kerry

And to think someone had to write that for Lurch, even he couldn’t come up with something so trite.

Yes...he is...always remember two hundred of his swiftboat comrades rose as one in ‘04 to denounce him as a self-serving coward.

Someday this man will burn in hell.

Penumbra, emanations, rays, and spillage of the Constitution clearly say I have the right to a Corvette.

One of the hot, new 2014 models, not the fat-assed 2013.

My reading of the bill of rights says you have the right to be safe from your government without just cause, you have the right to defend yourself from your neighbor and tyrannical government.
I see no right to be free from violence, but only to defend yourself from it!
These leftists had better stop siting rights that don’t exist before it gets them in trouble!

If the constitution is in fact such a flexible “living document”, who’s to say it doesn’t give me the right to punch a leftard in the face?

Someone needs to tell Kerry, who served in Vietnam, that Phidippides, the very first Marathon runner died from his runs. Kerry, who served in Vietnam, you know, also needs to know that the purpose of his run was to warn the Greeks in Athens that the Persians (Iranians) were attacking. The warning helped Greece defeat the Iranians.
