I typed a long response to you and somehow, it didn’t post. It’s gone, I don’t know where.

Anyway, Alamoudi’s name came up after the Benghazi attack. It was speculated that perhaps Alamoudi was helping Obama track down the armaments that had
sent to Libya that were still in the hands of the rebels, so that they could be shipped to Syria.

I’m not sure if that make sense, it could be something as simple as Obama complying with the demands of Morsi, Mohamed al Zawahiri, and the Muslim Brotherhood, to release all Islamic prisoners. Alamoudi could simply have been the first.

Thanks for following up on your original post. I saw some speculation along those lines when I was looking up the other links I posted. I don't know enough to comment on the basis of the speculation.
