It doesn't matter one iota how much border control is in his bill because it will be enforced the same as the border control in the current law... meaning ZERO enforcement.

Rubio has already changed his position on border security. Now, he is okay with that can being kicked down the road another 5 years or so.

I didn’t consider Rubio serious previously. If he were, all that needed to be done was use EXISTING laws. There is no need for new laws for that.

Now, he says he is for smaller government, but his proposal calls for a committee to take over border security, if Homeland Security doesn’t provide border security. Huh???

First, a new committee means bigger government, more bureaucracy.

Second, if the HSD can’t handle that, why does that massive bureaucratic boondoggle even exist?

Maybe, since the Boston Marathon Massacre seems to have been perpetrated by Chechnyan Islamists, that may cause the new immigration bill to be crammed up Rubio’s butt.

So true. The Congress can pass any law they want but getting Napolitano and Holder to enforce is immpossible.
