The possibility of not ever being able to replace that $800 AR15 is what drove the price up. Yes, it was a crisis but if you really wanted an AR15, you probably should have bought one back in Obummer's first term when the crisis began. It's not as if we didn't warn you. If you didn't bother back then, don't blame the gun dealers for your lack of an AR15, blame yourself. If I am unable to ever replace my rifle, you better believe I'm gonna need some serious incentive to part with it.

The fact is though, we bought all the fence sitters time. Prices are coming down and availability is going up. Don't miss your opportunity again because the only thing we know for sure is that they will try again.

I paid $440 for my first Colt pre-ban new, $2700 for my Scar 17, and wouldn't part with either.

You have the gougers, then you have the good guys like Shooters Pro; check them out.

“they will try again” Amen, brother. They will never stop trying. One great thing though, just think how much better armed America is now compared to 4 years ago regardless of the prices paid for weapons.
