I know in the automotive supplier community, about 5 yrs ago it became “politically incorrect” to talk about “master cylinder” and “slave cylinder” for brake systems.
We have a NAPA store and we cant even call gasket sealer Gorilla snot anymore
Similarly we’re discouraged from using master and slave when talking about circuit components.
