Despite the threat of a Presidential veto, on Friday, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Preventing Greater Uncertainty in Labor-Management Relations Act to halt the National Labor Relations Board from issuing decisions or rulings until the U.S. Supreme Court can rule on the NLRBs legitimacy or nominees are properly confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
The bill was drafted in an effort to rein in the labor relations chaos created when Obamas recess appointees to the National Labor Relations Board were found to be unconstitutionally appointed by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
Since the Circuit Courts ruling, hundreds of cases the NLRB has ruled on (and is still ruling on) have been thrown into legal limbo and dozens of companies, the Teamsters, as well as employees are challenging the NLRBs validity.

a veto threat?
what are the people at red state smoking?
has this bill also been passed in the senate?
no, it has not, and it will not even come to the floor for a vote there.
this is simply symbolic legislation by the house.
It’s a purely symbolic vote. As noted in the article there’s virtually no chance it would pass in the Senate.
Correction:
the labor relations chaos created by Obama with his unconstitutional recess appointees to the National Labor Relations Board.
Do the same to Lizzie Warren's Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Everything signed by Richard Cordray is void.
NOW is the time for the House Republicans to treat Broncho Bamma like he not relevant. Just act like he was not there. Dismiss any and every thing he says as silly or dumb and out of the main stream. Even though out numbered in the Senate by Democrats and the Democrat wanna-be Republicans, there are enough Conservatives in the Senate to set Bamma back on his heels.
About time!
I could not agree with you more, but I hold little hope that such a wish will ever come true.
Symbolic, true, but they could eliminate funding for the NRLB and hold to it during reconciliation.
you forgot ‘Marxist”.

10 Rs voted with the Dems. Can’t see what they would get out of that since it’s going nowhere anyway.
Maybe the Dems were willing to pay something for those votes so media can say ‘a “bipartisan” vote’ against it.
Of course!
Silly me, these Rs are likely in districts with a lot of union thugs!
