We'd need to know the timing of the bomb sniffing dogs. Are there any pix anywhere of the dogs? Were there any dogs at all?

What if there weren't any? That bomb might have sat there all day. The package might have been dropped off the night before. Why would the bomber stand around? Why not drop it and leave?

I'm betting they swept it earlier and then went away. Came back when people started hitting the finish line and walked away again.....But there's lotsa people in the way. They sure didn't send the dogs into the crowd.

And the bombers watched....then moved....

We need better technology or we have to inspect incoming folks just like at a ball game. They would have gotten caught.
