Exactly, re the counterattack. Instead of our leaders wiping their brows and saying "Whew that was a close one", they need be to be ready immediately this is done to go on the offensive-showing how guns save lives, showing the murder rates amongst those who obtained their guns illegally, and most of all, showing how cutting the Second Amendment into pieces Always means that we don't get all the pieces back once they're done. They need to show how the Second Amendment is of one piece, which says, unequivocally, that government shall make NO laws infringing upon our rights to keep and bear arms. That doesn't mean a "right to hunt". They need to return gun rights to most felons. Those with criminal intent will get them anyway, and those who have rehabilitated or weren't the for violent crimes should have the same rights to defend themselves and their family as other citizens. The government turns a blind eye to blatant scoff-laws-illegal immigrants-when they do so.
I think that they (we) have to go even further in that the politicians behind these hideous and naked attempts to cow a free people have to be exposed and relentlessly pursued using every type of media platform available.
I mean politicians and their coat holders at every level; federal, state and local.
This means that you and I and every free American don’t just talk to each other about it, we proclaim over and over again it to anybody within earshot.
We, all of us, must stop being afraid of the other side, that somehow we lose our credibility if we forcefully argue.
They count on that and when we do fight back, they will say , “Ah hah, see, we told you how (fill in the blank) they are.”
It’s like taunting the dog, getting bitten and then blaming the dog.
It’s time to bite. 2014 is coming up and this is where the totalitarian toads must find themselves looking for work in the real world that they are responsible for making.
