I concur.

I know too many well compensated well educated people who like Obama because it’s cool and feels good.

America the Great is now American the Ambivalent

There’s a vacuum in the center of our being that desires to be filled.
If you reject the Creator’s relationship,
you’ll attempt to fill it with something else.

Liberals fill it with their own sense of “good personhood”.
They have convinced each other that supporting liberal causes makes you a good person.

To add to my comment #12, I think a large number of people will eventually wake up after things become extremely painful i.e. economic collapse, inflation etc. But it will be way to late. I have found that even some of my own conservative family are low information and seem to agree with the RINO view on amnesty or 2nd amendment because they only watch fox news and don’t get enough information from other internet sources.

Another trait I see amongst almost everyone I know is that they seem to have a degree of ‘normalcy bias’ where they just don’t believe that things are going that bad. They WANT everything to be OK and they are lying to themselves. The degree of this bias varies depending on how ‘low information’ they are but its definitely there.
