Something else to look at:

This is the spot where the first bomb was planted. I believe this is 1.5 hrs. before explosion. Notice man bending over and man next to him with big hat and heavy down jacket. Asian woman is possibly one of 3 fatalities, not sure. The other pair (one in electric blue) are at bottom center of photo at this point, with one apparently no longer with backpack on his back.

I find all these pics confusing....there were a ton of people who had dark backpaks...there were a ton of people with white hats...a ton of people who were ME...and there is that suspcious white guy holding a darker backpak....

can anyone say from that pic where the first bomb was placed?

Notice the guy you have circled is looking at white hat guy. Also, white hat guy now has glasses on cap after possible loosing backpack.

Is this the explosion that detonated near the large mailbox? I do not see the large mailbox in this photo that you posted.
