That was ALWAYS the plan.

If you run a company it is going to be far less costly to pay the $3000 ‘fine’ than pay for $12,000 health care.

Look for a LOT of companies to dump their plans. The GOP must not let them delay anything until after 2014

Obamacare is about power and subjugation-not healthcare.

at the core, it's social engineering and elites deciding what elements of society should get what types of medical care, based on how their lives benefit the collective

Rahmbo Emmanuel's cold eyed physician brother (Ezekiel?) actually had a chart to help determine this

Children under 14 and people over 50/60- not worth so much
Others able to work and reproduce more workers to support the collective. So in a pandemic guess who gets the vaccine?

Remember when one of obama’s first moves was to deny flu shots to anyone over 50 due to vaccine shortages? All kinds of reason why that made sense, no outcry from the corrupt AARP

Also the elites have calculation of who has “used up” their share of medical resources available in society - pass the pain pills. No soup for you.

brave new world

Poll after poll show that most Americans want no changes to their Medicare and SS. The problem is that people receive far more in benefits than they contribute in taxes.

The welfare states in Europe don't try to fund their programs by just taxing the rich. The tax burden is much higher on all. Mark Steyn said, "If Americans want the Norwegian welfare state, they must be prepared to pay Norwegian taxes."

If Americans had to pay the real costs of the welfare state, many of them would no longer support it.

The tiny positive in this is that my liberal choosing-not-to-work since she cannot find something that sufficiently fulfills her, so spends all her time volunteering to support DNC activities and other sort of frivolous pursuits, relative, is having to now get some private individual health insurance, due to her husband, who is 13 years older, is retiring and going on Medicare. She’s going to FLIP OUT when she see how much this will cost, and she’s sort of a heavy utilizer of health care. I reminded her that the premiums are not deductible.
