There is a good deal of cowardice in attacking the civilian population as the American public may become enraged(if there is anything left inside, a debatable proposition.)

The real challenge would be the media and politicians who have bodyguards and security advisors beyond all belief making it a real challenge. An added bonus resulting from attacks on our societies aforementioned vermin would be the unexpressed public approbation.
