At a Tuesday press conference, Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD) politicized the Boston Marathon bombings by blaming Monday's tragedy on the sequester, saying the bombings were "proof" that some of the sequester cuts were "irrational." Hoyer is the House Minority Whip and second-ranking Democrat in leadership.

And there's the motive behind the bombings.

Revenue generation for the government.

So then he is blaming Obama? Since that is where sequester started and the order for draconian cuts to to public services came from so that the people would feel the pain, or will he blame the Republicans like a good little robot.

The bombs were fashioned from pressure cookers and designed to avoid detection by bomb-sniffing dogs. So more Gubmint spending would have failed to detect it.
There is an Jihadist Publication which instructs on how to build bombs from everyday Kitchen items that Security forces can not detect. (No Matter How Many Tax Payer Dollars are Spent).

To the collectivist, politics is everything, and therefore everything can be politicized.

The real problem is that there’s no Republican pointing out the obvious to the MSM - that this is Baraq’s baby.

If some of the “sequester cuts were irrational,” it is the fault of Obama and his administration as they are calling the shots on the whole thing, like no White House tours, etc. yet leaving in place thousands of other dollars for liberal “obligations!”

Hoyer is a nutcase and getting more radical as time goes by.

April 15th was Tax Day, Patriot or Patriotism Day and in the Middle East, Israeli Independence Day. If I remember correctly, The Oklahoma Bombing occurred around this time, but someone said that it was actually a date related to the Waco, Texas, David Koresh cult affair.

My allergies are so bad right now that I can hardly see so if anyone at FR has exact information about each of these dates/days, please feel free to add and correct.

Hey Denny Hoyer, since the Sequester was Obama’s idea, he owns these deaths. Ever thought of that you “piece of opportunist shit” (POOS)?

No wonder Maryland has now joined California, Illinois, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and some of New York at the bottom of the political cesspool.

Or in the vernacular, “Elect a red and you’ll be dead”.

Looks like Napolitano and DHS missed something, big time. Same for the Boston Police PD and the nutcase mayor Mafia Menino, and the FBI, etc.

Leaving trashcans along the route of a major and heavily populated event is a sure invitation to disaster. In DC, they remove the mail boxes, trash cans, newspaper boxes, and any other thing that could hold a bomb. While it does involve only a mile or less, and is a lot less work to be done re security, someone screwed up in Boston.

Looks like the buck stops at the Mayor’s desk so will little fruitcake Menino resign NOW? Doubt it. He’s addicted to his job just like Bloomberg is. He’ll manage to blame someone.

Hey nutjob. Call Helen Thomas, she’ll tell you who’s to blame for the bombing.

Do I sound pissed? Well I sure am. Having been involved in internal security affairs including the early birth-days of the Weathermen, I am amazed at how lucky (and to some degree, having a good FBI), we have been to have escaped a major terrorism event until now.

Too often the govt is looking at the wrong people and the gun-control debate showed that to be true. Registering guns doesn’t focus on the mental cases who, if they don’t have a gun or can’t get one, legally or illegally, can always go online and get bomb-making instructions.

Unibomber got his instructions from books and articles. Some of the local terrorists got them from overseas sources. Others took chemistry classes or learned how to fly planes - one way.

The whole issue of internal security has to be reviewed, and the need to call in the few surviving “old hands” would be a great step in setting the stage for a complete overhaul of our security programs. You have to know where we have been in order to see what potentially lies ahead.

There is a need for a new House Internal Security Committee to complement the House Committee on Terrorism, which is not as tough as it should be on both government planners and radical groups.

The old HCUA/HISC helped to break the back of the Ku Klux Klan by holding open hearings on their organization, leadership, terrorism tactics, and support systems. Same for the Revolutionary Action Movement (Maoist), SLA, the communist movements in the US, other Black extremist groups, etc.

Today, you cannot find such a hearing/list in the government, only a couple that list Evangelicals and Tea Party groups as the main potential terrorism/action groups in the US.

The whole system is backwards and upside down because most, but not all, of the thinking about terrorism-subversion threats is backwards and upside down. Blame it on incompetent Napolitano and a lot of DHS, a lot of the leadership of ATF, breakdowns in the Secret Service organization, a total politicization of the Dept. of Justice with totally incompetent leadership all around, an incompetent military leadership of the JCS, and an overall totally misguided and misconceived view of what the “threat” to America’s security consists of, both domestic and foreign, past and future.

An above all, it is the marxist mindset of Pres. Obama that made these bad appointments, promulgated bad policies, and has systematically targetted loyal Americans instead of focusing on those who are not loyal Americans, or, in fact, Americans at all despite citizenship (Atzlan and Mecha, N’Cobra/Reparationist Movement, Mexican Mafia, Russian Mafia, Moslem Brotherhood and its front CAIR, etc).

Obama has “fundamentally changed America” and it has made us more vulnerable at home and abroad. Having Hillary Clinton and John Kerry as secretaries of state is like having a Neville Chamberlain in a dress and a Neville Chamberlain on a secret mission to Cambodia in 1969. Both totally incompetent, both totally ambitious for political gain, and in the case of Kerry, down-right treasonous for helping Hanoi during the war.

I’m all over the place on this but I wanted to vent my frustrations at how all of this has been handled. Having been an undercover operative in leftist groups, a correspondent in Vietnam/Cambodia, and having lived with a bomb-sniffing K9, I have learned a few things, many of which I do not see being put into policy, as well as into action. When that happens, Americans die.

Remember the Fraunces Tavern 6.
Officer McConnell.
The Brinks/Nyack, NY armored car robbery/killings.
The BLA and Maxine Chesimard, still living in Cuba.
The Achilles Lauro ship killing.
Lockerbie Pan Am bombing.
Seaman Stetham.
Murdered Navy personnel in Puerto Rico.
BENGHAZI

Need I say more?

Remember Tom Daschole after 9/11? He required the TSA to buy a percentage (40%?) of new scanners from his donors, even though their machines didn't work.
