Sens. Chuck Schumer and John McCain, writing in The Wall Street Journal, on Tuesday touted the immigration deal that the bipartisan Gang of Eight has reached.
Like all genuinely bipartisan efforts, this bill is a compromise, Schumer (D-N.Y.) and McCain (R-Ariz.) wrote in the Journal. It will not please everyone, and no one got everything they wanted. The legislation we introduce on Tuesday has more support than any past effort.
The two lawmakers are expected to meet with President Barack Obama to discuss their proposal, which includes a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants already in the country and tougher border control. An event announcing the legislation has been postponed out of respect for the Monday explosions at the Boston Marathon.

RE: “Will not please everyone...”
Will only please the criminal network they work for. McCain has to be removed. Maybe Arizonans would even recall him?
Go sell crazy somewhere else, McLame....we’re all booked up here.
There is no lower form of slime than McQueeg and Shoo-me—er.
Oops, forgot about the Obamadork.
Sorry.
Anything that Chuck Schumer has ANYTHING to do with, I’m against. Anyone who has anything to do with Chuck Schumer, I am against. McCain shaking hands with Chuck means the only thing that could save him now would be an exorcism
I do not want anything these two maniacs are peddling.
Or a wooden stake...
Whenever Senate Gangs get together, liberty is sacrificed.
In other word if a person has come here illegally they are willing to forgive them if they don't kill or rape people, but the stealing of our votes by registering and illegally voting, even multiple times, can be overlooked rather than cause controversy.
BTW- Rubio's office has no comment on this issue. They say there doesn't seem to be much issue with this point.
Birds of a feather flock together.
McShame
You go John. I’m getting tired of $50 lettuce.
“See ya at the signing!”
I hope these clowns are just as wrong as Bush was when he said that.
If immigration and or gun control becomes law, I will be voting for Hillary, not once but twice. Because there is not much difference in eithe party. I’ve had it with the GOP elites.
Good old boys club members make deal cash to ensue.
Indexed and Bumped.
Hear, hear!
They don’t give a hoot what Americans think. Our citizens of the world senate is serving foreigners and screwing Americans - as usual.
