>>The first, and by far the weakest, trigger is for the legalization of the estimated 11 million immigrants in the country illegally.<<

And that will effectively end the process. illegals given amnesty courtesia nuevo micas azul (or so I hear they will be) will say “I am OK now” and not even bother to go any further. The will illegally vote (since there is no way to catch them) and we will have a permanent underclass of takers.

It seems the Republicans argument for everything anymore is...we are damned if we do and double damned if we don’t. I am sick of all of it.

sorry, nothing you’ve passed before and sold as ‘tough’ has lived up to the hype.

They won’t sell anything to Conservatives. These “senators” will side up with there other “senator” buddies and ram illegal immigration down our throats, all to satisfy the lobbyists who punch their meal ticket. Show me a politician who can’t be bought, and I bet I can point out his headstone.

They should remember how conservative support among Hispanics dropped after the last “immigration deal”.

Horror of horrors, Obama might EO his DREAM Act .....

With such a bill passed, we still won't get any border security, but it will be a Bipartisan Comprehensive Reform (i.e. everybody signed onto it)

Don't give Obama any legitimacy. Tough!

One question. What happens if you have an administration that for party political reasons finds it convenient to ignore parts of the law specifically mandated by Congress. I seem to remember a welfare law that required certain specific criteria to be met in order to receive welfare which was then specifically contravened by a certain administration.

I’m pretty sure my scumbag GA Senators, Isakson and Chambliss are already on-board. They tried to support Amnesty once before and got pounded so they backed off.
But Chambliss is retiring so he doesn’t give a $#!+. And Isakson has four years for the sheeple to forget about it.

These traitors read polls too. And, NO, I don’t base all my opinion on polls, but one after another, overwhelmingly mean something!
We need to get these facts out there before they can convince the public that everyone else thinks differently than they do!
BIG money is behind this amnesty, that and POWER is what this is ALL about!

ALL CURRENT!
Rasmussen poll: Border Security Hawks Aren’t Racist, Most Americans Say
Only 11 percent of U.S. voters think people who want to secure the border and prevent illegal immigration are racist, according to a poll released this week by Rasmussen Reports

Nine percent of conservatives and 6 percent of moderates said immigration hardliners are racist (which proves the term ‘conservative’ now publicly means the likes of Romney, Rubio, McCain, Conda, Norquist, etc.! NO WONDER the public seems to hate ‘conservatives’ with these representing all of us!)

Rasmussen also reports: Just 29% Support Immigration Plan Without Tougher Border Control

AND....

Rasmussen Reports, April 19, 2011 Seventy-seven percent (77%) of Republicans and 63% of voters not affiliated with either major political party oppose automatic U.S. citizenship for children born in this country to illegal immigrants. Democrats are evenly divided on the question.

"Starting this week, with the release of the bill, the Gang will launch an extensive public information campaign ....The short version of their case: The Gang proposal will be tough, tough, tough;"

PLEASE! Please don't believe these lies. This is Obama style governing. YOU are being used! The only thing 'tough' about this bill, is that the men putting it together say TOUGH to us if we object!
