Pamela Geller to speak in Edison, NJ Sunday 4/14 at 7 pm at Cong. Beth-El [Translate] After her speaking engagement at the Great Neck Synagogue was cancelled due to intense pressure exerted by a combination of Islamist and left-wing forces, Pamela Geller, an anti-jihadist activist, was asked by Rabbi Dr. Bernhard Rosenberg to give her address at his Congregation Beth-El in Edison, NJ.
Ms. Geller accepted and will be speaking at the synagogue, located at 91 Jefferson Blvd, Edison, NJ 08817, at 7pm on Sunday, April 14.
Her subject will be The Imposition of Sharia in America.
Ms. Geller, the chief reporter on the very popular blog, Atlas Shurgs, is the author of Freedom or Submission: On the Dangers of Islamic Extremism and American Complacency, Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to Resistance, and The Post-American Presidency: The Obama Administrations War on America, which she co-wrote with Robert Spencer.
Most recently, she was embroiled in controversy over ads she had placed in transportation stations throughout the country, calling for support for Israels civilized behavior over savage jihadism. The ads were placed as a response to anti-Israel posters which had been positioned in the same locations
Ms. Geller will be introduced by Mr. Spencer, who serves as director of Jihad Watch and associate director of the American Freedom Defense Initiative. He is the author of 12 books, including two New York Times bestsellers, The Truth about Muhammad and The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades).

I have a bit of a conflict so if I’m there I’ll be late but it’s been many years since I saw you Ziva so I will try.
My old temple. Rabbi Rosenberg named my kids.
Beth-El calls itself “EJCC Congregation Beth-El”. Is that Environmental Justice and Climate Change?
It also says “conservative and egalitarian synagogue”. Would I be correct in guessing small ‘c’ conservative is a typo and it should be capital ‘C’ Conservative as in USCJ?

The US army and by extension the Obama administration consider Pam Geller's site Atlas Shrugs to be a hate site.
My company’s internet firewall blocks Atlas Shrugged.
Isn’t she also speaking at Chabad in Great Neck today? Do you know what time that is?
Geller’s got guts! There are a whole heck of a lot of muslims in that area now.
My companys internet firewall blocks Atlas Shrugged.
Hmmm. Could be time to start looking for a new company.
I’m 62 and a half and I don’t want to move. I’ll serve out my time and retire.
Not the other way around? Seems like the army doesn't trust Obama, at least I hope they don't. Why would the army be worried about pro-Israeli Geller?
Robert Spencer was talking today about Pam Geller being banned from speaking at various venues.
I loved this statement:
Robert Spencer
But this is not an age of iron. Its an age of jelly. And so the order of the day will be more intimidation, more threats, and more defamation directed against anyone who speaks out against the jihad and Islamic supremacism, and anyone who dares to host that speaker. Until finally, there is no one left to speak out, no one at all.

We are ALL Pam Geller now! South Poverty Law Center just published their list of ‘hate’ sites, and included Free Republic. What you have to see is that OUR side is using SPLC talking points against us. The same people at CPAC, the ACU who wouldn’t let Geller and Spencer speak at CPAC with any criticism of Grover Norquist, Suhail Khan.
The same people spoken of here:
See, Who is Cesar Conda?

Good for Rabbi Dr. Bernhard Rosenberg! I hope she has a standing room only crowd.
She spoke in Great Neck at 10am. She will speak in Edison, NJ at 7pm. I wish I could go but I don’t have a car anymore.
There really haven’t been any ads because the new venues were set up at the last minute because the synagogue in Great Neck cancelled on Weds. Other people swung into action when that happened, but it has not left much time. Please do what you can to get the word out. If you can travel to help build up the audience, that would be great!
Nope.

Not so much the old army as it is the new army Obama is trying to create.
(U) Domestic Hate Groups by Ideology (in alphabetical order):(U) Anti-Gay:
(U) Opposition to equal rights for gays and lesbians has been a central theme of Christian Right organizing and fundraising for the past three decades ? a period that parallels the fundamentalist movements rise to political power.
(U) For Christian Right leaders, the gay rights movement and its so-called homosexual agenda are the prime culprits in the destruction of American society and culture. In the words of Focus on the Family founder James Dobson; the battle against gay rights is essentially a second civil war to put control of the U.S. government in the right hands, meaning those who reject gay rights.
(U) The religious right in America has employed a variety of strategies in its efforts to beat back the increasingly confident gay rights movement. One of those has been defamation. Many of its leaders have engaged in the crudest type of name-calling, describing LGBT people as perverts with filthy habits who seek to snatch the children of straight parents and convert them to gay sex. They have disseminated disparaging facts about gays that are simply untrue ? assertions that are remarkably reminiscent of the way white intellectuals and scientists once wrote about the bestial black man and his supposedly threatening sexuality.

(U) Anti-Muslim hate groups also broadly defame Islam, which they tend to treat as a monolithic and evil religion. These groups generally hold that Islam has no values in common with other cultures, is inferior to the West and is a violent political ideology rather than a religion.
