Shocked at last weeks Rockland County Times revelation that Columbia University has hired convicted, jailed and released Weather Underground terrorist Kathy Boudin as an adjunct professor, a furious Orangetown Town Board Tuesday unanimously approved a resolution of condemnation, and has demanded the university terminate Boudin immediately and send letters of apology to the families of the three officers killed during the infamous 1981 Brinks armored truck robbery in Nanuet and Nyack.
In a similar resolution the Town Board also continued it years-long effort to keep the killers of Pearl River teenager Paula Bohovesky in prison for the remainder of their lives, despite upcoming parole hearings for convicted murderers Richard LaBarbera and Robert McCain.
The strongly worded two-page resolution on Boudin was drafted by Councilman Thomas Diviny (R-Blauvelt), an attorney and a member of the four-man GOP majority that currently controls the Town Board. The resolution was not only supported by fellow Republican Councilmen Thomas Morr and Paul Valentine (Councilman Denis Troy was absent), but it received equally strong support from Supervisor Andrew Stewart, a Nyack resident and the councils only Democrat.

Somebody gets it.
They’ll turn tail and run once billy boy ayres makes a call to king hussein to tell him about the travesty being brought against one of his gal pals. Why these asshats ain’t pushing up stink weed somewhere with jimmy hoffa is beyond me.
At last, a Town Council doing something worthwhile/
Maybe the NYPD could get involved with Columbia and ask nicely why they hired a cop killer.
Boudin should go to Northwestern,,they hired Ayers and Dorn, two notorious Underground terrorists...and unrepetent ones at that.
It was deep in the article, however, where they mentioned that Columbia had better not blow this off too easily, as the township has an angle.
“...one of its largest colleges, the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, is located tax-free in the township, in the hamlet of Palisades, where it has been based for more than half a century.
I have a feeling that the none-too-subtle threat is either they fire this terrorist, or shortly they are going to get a whopping tax bill.

Columbia has become corrupt at the highest levels. Forget the tax bill; the observatory should be given six weeks to vacate and a sane college be established on the site.
This would likely be problematic, because while it is a private university, it likely has programs there that are state and federally funded.
However, hitting them with a whopping tax bill would be well within the cities power to do, and that it would amount to many times the salary paid to the terrorist, even more than the entire funding for that department, annually, it would attract their attention somewhat like having a 10 penny nail driven through their foot.
Even if they agreed to it, which is unlikely, the township could set aside that money for a “terrorist victim’s fund”, giving it to the families of the people she murdered.
Ok, it’s time to suggest that Columbia no longer be tax free in their town, which has a distinguished history back to the early cays of our nation. It is represented on the national and state level by Democrats.
