A great lady. RIP
My late mother came to this country from England as a child in the 1920s and although I have never stepped foot on British soil I still feel some odd sort of in-born connection to the old country.
Margaret Thatcher was a person of great strength, one who stood tall in the courage of her convictions. Whether it was coincidence that she and our own Ronald Reagan came to be the leaders of the free world at the same time in history I have no idea. What I do know is that leaders of such character do not come along in every lifetime, and I feel privileged to have had them both here during mine.
I hope they are enjoying a cup of tea and a pleasant conversation. God bless them.
