You can plead nolo contendere in Ohio and get no points. I did it. You get the fine though.
Paying the fine stinks but I’m way more concerned about the points. Did you have a lawyer?
Pleading “nolo contendere” does not necessarily get you out of the points. You plead “no contest” which means the judge gets to decide your guilt or innocence after which he asses the punishment as he sees fit. Other’s results with this plea could vary.
