This notion that's peddled by the religious right - that they are oppressed is not true. Sometimes it's a cynical ploy to move their agenda ahead. The classic example being that somehow secularists are trying to eliminate Christmas, which strikes me as some kind of manufactured controversy.

What I find REALLY interesting about this issue is that the Army has ducked ANY responsiblility for the training, saying that they didn’t develop the training nor did they authorize it or the slide in question.

They have NEVER explained how it DID get into the training material, who DID develop the training and who DID authorize the training.

All they have said is what they DIDN’T do and no one has asked the follow-up questions to find out who DID!!
