Well, I dunno... Is this really news? Haven’t we all been assuming they have a medium range missile that could carry a nuke?
It is VERY MUCH news (was breaking early this afternoon).
Until now, there had been no comment by any U.S. government agency — or any intelligence service — to suggest that NK possessed a nuclear weapon with a form factor that would fit as a payload on any of their ballistic missile types. There was really not even any informed speculation that was the case.
This is possibly the biggest geopolitical intelligence to come out thus far in 2013!!!
No. The assumption was that they were working toward that goal.
