We had a tornado a couple of years ago and that’s almost unheard of here. It went right through our neighborhood but missed us by a few houses. There was debris everywhere. Things like parts of siding, etc that were not ours in our backyard I put into the front so someone could find them.
We almost could not get out of the neighborhood that morning and we slept right through it.
WHOA! You slept right through it! Tornadoes are supposed to sound like LOUD trains!!
We had high winds one night that knocked bricks out of our chimney onto the roof. Four family members all woke up and gathered in the hall to see what the noise had been. Mom? I was snoring.
