You have the wrong villain. The real problem is the government that inflicts this crap on the rest of the population at the behest of the muslims. The tail is once again wagging the dog, and the government is forcing it to so so. If the government said no to the muslims as readily as it said no to the christians there wouldn't be a problem.

It goes beyond that. Islam isn't the problem. There are any number of religious groups that might have similar (or other) social/moral concerns (Orthodox Jews, for example) about their people in public places.

The real problem here is that you're seeing the failure of multiculturalism in its entirety -- and it's total incompatibility with any social/political system that is predicated on massive government oversight and involvement in matters. The problem isn't Islam ... the problem is the whole idea of a public swimming pool -- and the abject idiocy of a municipal government in which taxpayers actually foot the bill for a person called the "city aquatics manager."
