Three former Penn State administrators accused of covering up complaints about Jerry Sandusky lost a set of rulings Tuesday, allowing their criminal cases to move forward.
Judge Barry Feudale denied an attempt to throw out the grand jury report backing up the accusations and ruled against two other defense requests. As the judge who oversaw the grand jury, Feudale said he no longer has jurisdiction.
Feudale said he would not have granted the defendants' request that the charges be thrown out and emphasized that the case was out of his hands once the grand jury issued its report. But the judge did provide an analysis of the defense arguments that, he said, let him to conclude their motions lacked merit.
Defendants Gary Schultz, Tim Curley and Graham Spanier are charged with perjury, obstruction, endangering the welfare of children, failure to properly report suspected abuse and conspiracy.
The three had sought to exclude the testimony of Penn State's former general counsel Cynthia Baldwin, based on her actions as she accompanied the men to grand jury appearances in Harrisburg in early 2011. The defendants argued that Baldwin's actions violated their right to legal counsel, but Feudale said it "strains credulity to infer that they were somehow deluded or misrepresented by attorney Baldwin."

These guys are Penn State's athletic director, VP for Business and Finance, and President ... and they were simply doing their job of being politically correct ... by sheltering me ... a homosexual pedophile!
That seems to be a common mistake by a lot of people in this case.
If I’m not mistaken, this isn’t the last judge that will rule on this. If Baldwin’s testimony is indeed allowed to stand, then this trial (if it occurs) will be a complete farce.
Frankly I hope that this case is not dismissed on a technicality. For everybody’s benefit what these four knew and when they knew it needs to come out in a public trial.
This story really got its beginning with a high school in Mill Hall, PA at Central Mountain High. This is where Sandusky took up hanging out and a mom of a student brought the issue forward. The mom told the principal and he interviewed the student who was forthcoming with his info. The mother was informed and she notified the local Child Protective Services which launched an investigation.

Graham Spanier did promise to make Penn State the most homosexual-friendly university in the country. That was his motivation to cover-up the Sandusky abuse.
Al Pacino’s role as Col. Slade in the movie “The Scent of a Woman” comes to mind every time the words “Penn State” pass in front of me. He said,”If I were the man I was five years ago, I’d take a flamethrower to this place” referring to the prep school where Chris O’Donnell was a student. The only thing that needs to change is the venue.
