And i still have not had anyone explain why a background check for felonies, etc requires ANY mention of a gun. Whether the gun was ever actually purchased after all or not, should have no bearing whatsoever on whether or not an individual gets a pass or fail to complete a sale.

If you pass, buy the gun or don’t. If you fail, you cant. SO why any information on the gun purchased if you pass?

Because it is not about background it is really registration, no matter how loudly they say it isn't. Remember we caution our kids about putting things on facebook, same applies to us, once it is in a computer it is there forever.
