Snoop Dogg says homosexuality may not 'ever be acceptable' in rap music
Daily Mail ^ | 8 April 2013 | Hanna Flint

Snoop Dogg may have recently come out in support of gay marriage, but he doesn’t seem to think the world is ready for gay rappers.

The legendary hip-hop artist - who now also goes by Snoop Lion - was asked whether Frank Ocean's decision to come out as a gay artist would make it easier for others to follow suit.

Snoop responded by saying ‘Frank's a singer. It's acceptable in the singing world, but in the rap world I don't know if it ever will be because rap is so masculine.’

It is comforting to know that there remains one area of American life that remains committed to traditional values.

It’ll be politically tricky for the homosexual agenda propagandists to mock Snoop Dog, but that’s what they will do.

I guess Snoop don’t open his eyes too much. From what I heard, some of the gayest people on earth are rappers. A friend of mine use to record them in New York city in the 90s, said they would be making out on the couch while he would be mixing the track. Said that whole gangsta rapper act is all based on prison queens. I totally believe it as to me it doesn’t get any gayer than gangs and prison. I mean seriously, what is the gayest place on earth? Prison. Yet they celebrate going there. Go to prison to impress your homies. Walk around with your pants down and your butt showing... Gay gay gay.

Gotta go with snoop on this. The coprophiles and same sex molestors need to stay closeted or seek therapy.

You're missing the point.

What he's really saying is that rap "music" is marketed largely to heterosexual males -- which means that the rap industry is going to keep all their performers in the closet even if they are as gay as the day is long.

"...because rap is so masculine."

Yeah right... I know the first thing I think of when I see Snoop Dog is masculinity. /s

You seriously find comfort from the traditional family values that rap music puts out?

You need to get your morning coffee before you start spouting garbage like that.

Or just go somewhere else.

“It’s acceptable in the singing world, but in the rap world I don’t know if it ever will be because rap is so masculine.”

So, by his own admission(c)rap is not singing. So if it’s not singing it’s not music...................thats what I thought all along.
