But, she added: “If at some point that weren’t true and I thought I could make a meaningful and measurably greater impact, I’d have to ask and answer that question.” …

Caroline Kennedy managed to sabotage her own political careereby having absolutely NO table manners in public, and by lapsing into being nearly inarticulate when asked even softball questions. She was never ready for prime time.

Chealsea, on the other hand, has been carefuly groomed to speak in a clear voice, and if called upon to marshall any support for the subject she is expounding upon, can create the impression she has these facts at her ready disposal. And if the answer required statement of supporting facts, she could readily make the “facts” up on the spot.

And Chelsea has much less boorish manners in public. Privately, she learned from Mama how to berate personal security and underlings.
