Where the heck did the concept of "proportional response" come from? Tit for Tat?

Don't tug on Superman's cape. Unless, of course, the guy wearing the cape is a wimpy Muslim.

George Patton would be rolling over in his grave.

Americans are in it to win. Tit-for-tat? Sounds like a politically correct “you live to fight another day” war.

If we had fought World War II like that, we’d be speaking German today and hailing the Fuhrer!

The first time I remember hearing it was when (j)urinalists complained about one of their ilk being killed in the battle of Bhagdad. US troops were taking fire from a hotel so a tank blew a big hole in it and a (j)urinalist was killed...,...(no loss imo)

IIRC, there was some kind of court case brought about over this but I don't remember the outcome.

“Proportional response”

Comes from the lefts idea that Israel shouldn’t use more force in response to an attack that the turd heads had used to attack Israel.

‘Proportionality’ comes from international law concerning warfare, but its popular use means ‘Jews can’t fight back’. More recently, its popular use also means ‘Americans can’t fight back’.
