The White House tried Sunday to win support for President Obamas forthcoming budget, arguing the plan is a balanced approach to economic prosperity and warning Republicans about stonewalling negotiations and pushing a rejected Romney plan.
Right now, the approach of many Republicans, particularly the leadership in the House, is my way or the highway, senior White House adviser Dan Pfeiffer told Fox News Sunday. Their view is the only acceptable plan is to try to essentially enact the Romney economic plan. The American people rejected that, and Republicans shouldn't be doubling down on it.
The White House effort comes three days before Obama releases his 2014 budget, which is expected to include a mix of tax increases and cuts to such entitlements as Social Security and Medicare.

There was a total prick on with Chris Wallace earlier that kept saying, “Republicans can’t expect to cut their way to prosperity.” The new meme from these smug asses, to be sure. But that’s EXACTLY how we can get back to prosperity, cut government and cut it BIG.
Do you honestly believe Obama wants prosperity? If he did, he would not be telling banks to make subprime loans - again. Prosperity for America is the last thing he wants.
...the little boy king don’t like to being told anything. The world knows he’s a moron with an attitude, take note how his popularity has disappeared, it didn’t take long for the rest of the planet to see through this muslim pimp. The US media can’t protect him much longer.
Pure projection.
Screw these people and the horse they rode in on.
Don't back down!
Obama is more confused than a hungry baby in a topless bar.
Yeah. Tax. Spend. Blame republicans.
There is really only one point of controversy out there - Is the United States ever going to get back to some degree of fiscal sanity, or not? The Current Regime appears to be for NEVER getting back to sanity.
Oh, they SAY they do, but not much of what they offer seems to directed toward that objective. They go into tantrums and hissy fits at the least suggestion that the rate of government spending growth even gets slowed down, let alone reversed or terminated. They continue to add unsustainable programs, with no legitimate source of funding in sight, and apply regulations and restrictions whose only purpose seems to be to stall out real economic growth, for no apparent advantage.
Then they charge off in some other “social reformation” crusade, be it for same-sex marriage, forcing “the rich” to pay their “fair share” (never defined, by the way), or now, “gun control”, when they won´t even enforce the laws now on the books in regard to controlling access to guns by criminals, or adequately sentencing those who choose to use firearms to commit crimes or assaults.
“My way or the highway”, to which I would say, “What highway?”
...when was Zero coroneted as King Obambi
Which is the typical tactic of 99.9 percent of the rats
But it’s the truth
Bingo
Bump
Frankly given how bad Obama’s way is even the democrats prefer the highway when it comes to a vote in the house. The the democrat controlled senate of course won’t vote on anything,
Who do you think my first post was about?
Didn’t Obammys last budget get exactly ZERO votes?
Ironic.
He will just have to hit the highway.
The thing which nobody speaks about though, is what else it means.
If you cut government big, you put more responsibility on individuals.
Individual workers. Individual companies. Making individual products.
Right now though, we no longer make individual products. We have sent those factories to China.
So we cannot cut government as drastically as you say, because we have eliminated jobs.
Bring BACK jobs. Now.
First.
Obama, speaking in Colorado about "gun control" legislation.........
And so, surely, we can have a debate thats not based on the notion somehow that your elected representatives are trying to do something to you other than potentially prevent another group of families from grieving the way the families of Aurora or Newtown or Columbine have grieved. Weve got to get past some of the rhetoric that gets perpetuated that breaks down trust and is so over the top that it just shuts down all discussion. And its important for all of us when we hear that kind of talk to say, hold on a second.
This coming from the same a-hole that talks about Republicans wanting dirty air, dirty water, kids with autism to fend for themsleves and wanting granny thrown off a cliff.
FUBO!
