Rush didn’t concede the issue, the gist of his commentary was how it seems everyone in power has given up on it. No one who makes the decisions are standing and fighting.

To say the issue is lost is the same as giving up.

Rush, by contrast, is not giving up on fighting Obamacare. He fights even though at least 80 percent of the American people support the most important feature of Obamacare — eliminating preexisting conditions. Rush continues to fight socialized medicine because it is right thing to do.

Unfortunately, he doesn’t spend anywhere near the same energy fighting gay marriage.

I agree with mnehring. I think we've lost this one.

Of course, the real losers will be the Western world x years from now when the consequences of these actions finaly catch up with us. Happy goldfish bowl everyone!
